The standard LA/DA/LL series components are used to cool or heat the coolant flowing through a liquid heat exchanger. This heat exchanger is specifically designed for use in circulating cooling systems and requires a pump and associated piping to complete the liquid circuit.
On the cooling side, heat is absorbed by a heat exchanger, while a custom-designed thermoelectric cooler pumps this heat to a paired heat exchanger on the heat dissipation side. The heat dissipation side can employ:
> Convection mode: (Liquid to Air)
> Conduction method: (Direct to Liquid)
> or via liquid-to-liquid transfer: (Liquid to Liquid)
To enhance heat transfer, turbulators have been inserted into the liquid channels of the heat exchanger. However, for applications involving higher liquid flow rates, these turbulators can be removed to reduce pressure drop.
