On September 14, Shao Genbao, Party Secretary and Director of the Zhejiang Provincial Government Office in Shanghai, Wu Zhifang, a member of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the Office, and Li Jing, Director of the Yangtze River Delta Liaison and Cooperation Division of the Office, visited the Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Deputy Director Su Liangbi, Director Mao Chaoliang of the Party Committee Office (Institute Office), Deputy Director Wu Yongqing of the Science and Technology Industry Division, Researcher Han Zhiguang from the Center for Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering, Li Fei, General Manager of Zhejiang BOSON Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., as well as relevant personnel from research and functional departments, attended the visit.
Shao Genbao and his delegation visited the exhibition hall of achievements at the Shanghai Institute of Ceramics and watched a video introducing the institute's overview. Mao Chaoliang highlighted the institute's significant role in meeting national strategic needs, serving major national engineering applications, and supporting the main battlefields of the national economy. Shao Genbao highly praised the series of achievements made by the Shanghai Institute of Ceramics.
During the symposium and exchange session, Su Liangbi, on behalf of the Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, welcomed Shao Genbao and his delegation to the institute for their research and exchange visit. She expressed gratitude for Zhejiang Province's long-term attention and support, introduced the institute's history of cooperation with Zhejiang Province, and stated that the institute would further strengthen its ties with the Zhejiang Provincial Office in Shanghai, promote the implementation of relevant achievements, and contribute to the region's economic and social development. Wu Yongqing delivered a report titled "Cooperation between the Shanghai Institute of Ceramics and Zhejiang Province," highlighting the institute's achievements in collaborative efforts between the institute and Zhejiang Province as well as in technology transfer and commercialization. Huan Zhiguang and Li Fei respectively presented updates on the progress of related projects being implemented and commercialized in Zhejiang Province. Shao Genbao thanked the Shanghai Institute of Ceramics for its contributions to Zhejiang Province's scientific and technological innovation endeavors. He introduced Zhejiang Province's plans to build three major innovation hubs and expressed his hope for closer collaboration with the Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, encouraging more high-quality projects to be brought to Zhejiang for implementation and commercialization.
Both sides engaged in in-depth exchanges and discussions on the next steps of cooperation.
